Mission--October 2009

It began to look a little like
fall along City Creek.


Our snowman mascot is decked
out for Halloween (Utah has the
"Greatest Snow on Earth")

On October 15th we flew to
Virginia for a long week-end.

Took a trip to Gettysburg to
see Eric's family.

We also went to Bill's 50th
high school reunion in
Lancaster.

When we got back, fall had
arrived!

We said good-bye to one of
our favorite missionaries,
Elder Bake--who has taught
me so much about Idaho
history!

Then winter made a brief
appearance.

The best news--
Mike came home
on October 26th!!!

Mission--September 2009

The first of September might be meterological fall--but the thermometer stayed way up for the whole month.

Mr. Snowman was ready for fall & school.

We went to Antelope Island
with our social group.

Mission August 2009

A hot month--for the most part, made us wish we could be at the beach!



Our daily walks go past City Creek!


The one cool week-end, we did a walking tour around Temple Square.

We had a branch picnic up Parley's Canyon and a program about raptors, birds of prey.
