Grandpa and I flew to Utah on August 23rd, just in time to help with Jacob's "surprise" birthday party. He and his friends went through the training course at the Dixon Spy Agency.

Michael's baptism was Saturday, August 25th. He got a spiffy nw suit and his cub scout uniform. He attended his first pack meeting the Tuesday after his baptism.
My sister, Dr. Patricia Ravert, was honored at the BYU faculty meeting and we were able to attend as her guests. She was awarded a 3-year grant for the nursing department.
Saturday, September 1, was Jacob's baptism in Layton, Utah.
Look at all of the family members who came. The picture on the left is Kent's relatives (two of my sisters--Janice and Linda) and the other group is Betsy's family.
After the baptism we all went back to their house for a cook-out, football, trampolining and birthday cake.
We ended the trip with a visit to Antelope Island with Kent's family and Russell's family. Took a picture of the five grandkids with a "buffalo" and then we saw the real thing. Actually saw several hrds of buffalo and three antelope.
It was a nice end to a busy trip. The last picture is the Wasatch Mountains mirrored in the Great Salt Lake.
